Open House a Success 
Thanks to everyone who made the first AMA sponsored Take-Off and
Grow, GCRCC Open House on May 31, a great success. Despite the
windy weather, we introduce twenty one people to RC flying. About
thirty five GCRCC members turned out to help. At this point,
three of the attendees are joining GCRCC and the AMA. We hope
others will follow. Look for an even better event in 2009.

Congratulations to GCRCC member
Mark Feist for his first place win in 424 class Sunday. Thanks
to all the GCRCC volunteers who made this event a success. A
special thanks to the Zeislers for once again providing the fine
